Characters: Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie
Relationships: Edmund/Caspian
Setting: Dawn Treader
Notes: Filmverse, I suppose. A sequel to Vulnerable.
Rating: T
Warnings: None
Summary: Becoming a pair again after so long apart takes time. And, of course, time – or at least any kind of surfeit of it – is the last thing you have.

But Ed is worth every second you can spare, and more besides. )

Characters: Caspian X, Other(s)
Relationships: Edmund/Caspian
Setting: Dawn Treader
Notes: Filmverse, I suppose.
Rating: T
Warnings: None

Caspian/Edmund: (Je N’ai Pas Oublié) La Chanson Que Tu Me Chantais

Title: (Je N’ai Pas Oublié) La Chanson Que Tu Me Chantais
Characters: Caspian X, Other(s) Mentioned
Pairing: Edmund/Caspian, Caspian & Ramandu’s Daughter
Setting: Post-Voyage of the Dawn Treader
Rating: T
Warnings: None
A/N: I have tried to ship Caspian with Ramandu’s Daughter, but it doesn’t work for me. As a King, however, Caspian has little choice about whether he marries; this might help explain some of his behaviour here. The title is from the poem Les Feuilles Mortes by Jacques Prévert.
Summary: He’s no longer here, but that doesn’t mean you aren’t still in love with him.

If anything, the opposite is true. )

Caspian/Edmund: This Is Home

Title: This Is Home

Notes: Filmverse. Yes, this is post-Voyage of the Dawn Treader Edmund/Caspian. No, I don’t give a fig for canon. All characters you recognise belong to C. S. Lewis.
Character(s): Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie, Other(s)
Pairing(s): Caspian/Edmund Pevensie
Rating: T
Summary: You’re making the conscious decision your unconscious mind reached weeks ago: you cannot leave him.

The Lion pronounces it time for you to leave, never to return to Narnia. )

I am writing (well, editing really) again.

It's been a while, hasn't it? Lurgy and other things have kept me from writing much over the past three weeks. But I'm starting to have a bit more energy, and with a bit of luck I should be posting a new work in the next few days.

Caspian/Edmund: Nothing But Your Heart

Title: Nothing But Your Heart
Warnings: None
Notes: Filmverse. Yes, this is post-Voyage of the Dawn Treader Edmund/Caspian. No, I don’t give a fig for canon. Inspired by a prompt I saw in a Livejournal comm; all characters you recognise belong to C. S. Lewis.
Character(s): Edmund Pevensie, Caspian X
Pairing(s): Caspian/Edmund
Rating: T
Summary: Miracles do happen; you’re living proof.

Aslan had said you would never return; until now, you'd believed him. )

Caspian/Edmund: Mistletoe

Title: Mistletoe
Warnings: None
Rating: T
Character(s): Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie, Other(s)
Relationships: Caspian/Edmund Pevensie, Caspian & Lucy Pevensie, Caspian & Susan Pevensie
Notes: Filmverse. We know from the book that the Pevensies leave Narnia before Caspian’s coronation; the film is rather more vague about how long they’re with him, but they’re there for the coronation. The coronation of a new British monarch happens approximately a year after they accede to the throne, and according to Wikipedia the preparations inside Westminster Abbey (where British monarchs are crowned) take five months. This implies the Pevensies were with Caspian after the Second Battle of Beruna for at least five or six months, which would allow Midwinter/Yule and Christmas to pass by. So by my thinking, this is not, technically, an AU.
Summary: You never do discover who’s responsible for smuggling it in, but you could kiss them for it.

It’s the end of Yule, and Christmas is long gone; by rights everything to do with the season should be gone by now, too. )

Caspian/Edmund: Interrupted

Title: Interrupted
Rating: T
Character(s): Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie
Pairing: Caspian/Edmund
Setting: Somewhere in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, most likely on the Lone Islands.
Notes: Slightly crackish, and a tiny bit of angst that's blink-and-you'll-miss-it. But mostly fluff, because there's been too much pain this week already. Characters you recognise belong to C. S. Lewis.
Summary: Ed’s laughing. At you.

And you're somewhat less than pleased about it. )

Caspian/Edmund: Near To You

Title: Near To You
Warnings: None
Rating: T
Character(s): Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie
Pairing: Caspian/Edmund Pevensie
Notes: The quote at the top of this piece, and through it the title, comes from the Carpenters song Merry Christmas, Darling. Yes, this is AU post-Voyage of the Dawn Treader Casmund. No, I don’t care about canon.
Summary: You never dared to dream you could have this, but sometimes dreams do come true.

Near To You )

Caspian/Edmund: For Ever True

Title: For Ever True
Warnings: None
Character(s): Caspian X
Pairing(s): Caspian/Edmund
Rating: T
Notes: Filmverse, with a nod or two to bookverse. A look at what life is like when the person you’re in love with is gone for ever, but you can’t get them out of your mind — or your heart.
Summary: You remember ... because you can’t forget.

You once swore to Ed you’d never let him go. )

Caspian/Edmund: Don’t Leave Me Here Alone

Title: Don’t Leave Me Here Alone
Character(s): Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie
Pairing: Caspian X/Edmund Pevensie
Rating: T
Notes: Bookverse, with filmverse casting. This deals with themes surrounding Caspian’s denial of the fact Edmund may disappear from his life at any point, and how Ed forces him to recognise (but fails to make him deal with) what this means for his future. Set during Voyage of the Dawn Treader, after Ramandu’s Island.
Disclaimer: Characters you recognise belong to C. S. Lewis.
Summary: You’re living in denial, and the worst part of it is you don’t even realise you’re doing it. Or, at least, not until Edmund forces the issue.

You should be more careful what you wish for. )

A Song For Susan: Preserve Your Memories (They're All That's Left You)

Title: A Song For Susan: Preserve Your Memories (They’re All That’s Left You)
Warnings: Major Character Death
Notes: The title is from Old Friends/Bookends as sung by Simon & Garfunkel. This is set after the train crash during The Last Battle. As always, any characters you recognise belong to C. S. Lewis.
Character(s): Susan Pevensie
Pairing(s): None
Rating: G
Summary: Forcing yourself to forget, because you can’t bear to remember what you can no longer have, is not the same as simply forgetting.

Disclaimer: Any characters you recognise belong to C. S. Lewis.
Character(s): Edmund Pevensie

Caspian/Edmund: A Matter Of Life And Death

Title: A Matter Of Life And Death
Warnings: Author Chose Not To Warn
Character(s): Edmund Pevensie, Caspian X, others (mentioned)
Pairing(s): Caspian/Edmund
Rating: M
Notes: Filmverse, although the encounter with the Sea Serpent is in its bookverse setting.
Summary: Trying to breathe is more painful than you’d thought possible.

<p>Thanks to that bloody Sea Serpent you’re lying on the Dawn Treader’s deck at least half-drowned. )

Caspian/Edmund: Better Than This?

Title: Better Than This?
Archive Warnings: Author Chose Not To Use Archive Warnings
Character(s): Eustace Scrubb, Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie, mention of others
Pairing(s): Caspian/Edmund Pevensie
Rating: M
Notes: Filmverse, set on Dragon Island before Eustace becomes endragoned. There’s canon-era-typical homophobia; sometimes I think, at this point in the canon, Eustace is his own advance warning. This is an experiment in First Person POV.
Summary: Eustace sees everything, but understands nothing.

We have a list a mile long of things to do, and half a day to get it done and us back aboard ship. )

Caspian/Edmund: To Be A Pilgrim

Title: To Be A Pilgrim
Archive Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply
Character(s): Caspian X, Edmund Pevensie (mentioned)
Pairing(s): Caspian/Edmund
Rating: T
Notes: Filmverse, after the Pevensies and Eustace return to their own world. The title is from the hymn He Who Would Valiant Be.
Summary: This journey has been a pilgrimage of sorts. Yet pilgrims are still human, and every human grieves.

The pain is overwhelming. )
